Rachel is a highly trained Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncturist, with a good grounding in Western medicine. She is fully qualified and insured to practise acupuncture. She graduated in 2009 with a BSc (hons) degree in acupuncture and a diploma in tui na massage.
Rachel has worked in busy clinics in London including a multibed practice in Blackheath and traditional clinics in North Finchley. She went on to set up practice in Oxford working at clinics in Jericho and Cowley.
Rachel is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC). She adheres to the strict code of safe practice and code of professional conduct required as a member. She is committed to continuing professional development training, including courses, study groups and mentoring. She has been on many post graduate courses. Last year she completed more than 60 hours training on the following courses:
- Acupuncture in Gynaecology and Fertility
- Acupuncture in Obstetrics
- Enhancing Success with Fertility Treatment and IVF
- Turning Breech Babies with Acupuncture and Moxibustion
- Treating Sports Injuries with Acupuncture, tui na, and TCM
- Core Foundations Acupuncture Training
- Advanced Track Acupuncture Training
Rachel is a registered and licensed acupuncturist with the Vale of the White Horse Council, Cotswold District Council and Oxford City Council. She is on a voluntary register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. This accreditation demonstrates a commitment to high professional standards, to enhancing safety and delivering a better service.
Rachel has practiced tai chi for over 15 years. She is a fully qualified and insured instructor. She is affiliated with the Oxford School of Tai Chi and Chi Kung.
